During the Concept phase, ideas take shape and become concrete. Through a creative and collaborative process between multi-functional teams, we develop and shape the solutions identified and conceived during exploration.
This phase allows us to transform abstract concepts into tangible projects ready for industrialization.

In the Concept Definition phase, we focus on ideas that emerged during exploration and translate them into clear, defined concepts, giving them their first concrete form.
We use creative methodologies and collaborative workshops to generate innovative solutions that respond to identified needs.
Using the information collected on the product mission and user profiles, we create a customer journey to visualize and analyze each phase of interaction between the user and the product, identifying critical touchpoints and opportunities for improvement.
We define user interfaces (UI) through all digital devices necessary to meet Client needs, and user experience (UX), whether within physical or digital space, to ensure the product is easy to use, intuitive, and satisfying.
We develop a human-machine interface (HMI) concept that optimizes interaction between user and system, making it simple and functional. Through a specific process, we define the most suitable graphic solutions for intuitive use aligned with Client expectations.
The 2D sketches phase is when ideas and concepts, defined in the exploration phase, take their first concrete visual form of design, where various possibilities of language and stylistic themes are explored to incorporate product characteristics defined in previous phases.
Starting from the style theme developed through 2D sketches, we translate the product design into 3D using specific modeling software. We use virtual and augmented reality to visualize a three-dimensional representation of the style, enabling an immersive and detailed design vision that allows critical analysis and necessary adjustments to achieve aesthetic and functional targets.
We give form to conceptual stylistic ideas by creating clay models, both in reduced scale (1:x) and full scale (1:1), to explore and refine product shapes and style tangibly. This tool allows the design team to evaluate proportions and details more reliably.
We define the spatial position of all components necessary for the new product’s operation, identifying architecture and geometry, thus defining spatial constraints around which to develop forms and technical solutions. Moreover, through a Human Centric methodology, user position is defined as a priority to conceive the new product. Ergonomic and functionality studies are the foundation of this definition.
Perceived quality, or how the Client perceives product quality through visual and tactile aspects, defines preliminary quality targets that the new product must satisfy, considering initial hypotheses of form, production process, and materials used.
Through Concept Validation, we test and validate concepts developed during the definition phase. We use verification methodologies supported by virtual simulations, prototypes, and tests to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of our solutions and trace a convergence path for Concept freezing.

In our testing laboratories, we create hybrid physical and digital models that use and integrate different technologies to create multi-sensory experiences for complete validation of a new product. By combining physical and digital, we can validate a new product through a completely immersive visual and tactile convergence process.
We create physical product models using various production technologies and materials to obtain a result aligned with product design maturation, converging toward increasingly detailed solutions faithful to the final aesthetic result well ahead of production. We evaluate both interior and exterior of the product, verifying ergonomics, usability, and aesthetics.
We define the final version of future design aesthetic characteristics in terms of color, materials, and finishes (CMF) to ensure the product meets desired aesthetic and functional standards and aligns with end Client expectations.
For convergence between style and design feasibility, the technical team conducts an extensive series of checks aimed at analyzing in detail all technical, technological, ergonomic, process, and performance aspects. Through a methodology matured and refined over time, we can validate a new design robustly and with high reliability through rapid convergence with style teams.
Thanks to the use of the most advanced scanning technologies, we can create virtual models of existing products usable for various project needs that may arise during new product development or to improve an existing product.
We perform all checks impacting current regulations and homologation requirements to ensure, in all project phases, that the product under development complies with them. We use customized verification processes and methods based on product characteristics and sales markets.
We define and validate user ergonomic parameters in all phases of product use in terms of comfort, visibility (with daylight and night light), reachability, and functionality. Analyses are carried out through specific software and internally developed tools based on proprietary databases.
