Tecnocad announces a strategic partnership with PIX Moving, a leading company in urban robotics, for the development of innovative sustainable mobility solutions in Europe. The collaboration originated at the end of 2023 from the meeting between Germano Cini, founder of Tecnocad, and Angelo Yu, founder and CEO of PIX Moving, materializing in March 2024 with the signing of the strategic collaboration agreement.
As Stefano Cini, CEO of Tecnocad, explains, “The collaboration between our companies will create opportunities to generate awareness about the potential of autonomous driving technology through a customized experience based on European market demand.” The first phase of the project will focus on a 6-seat autonomous minibus that will be implemented for shuttle testing services in Turin.
The European market shows growing demand for sustainable public transportation, and a decrease of approximately 15 percentage points in private car usage is expected by 2035 in favor of public transport and small mobility devices.
After the Italian phase, Tecnocad will extend collaborations to other European countries, consolidating its presence in the sustainable autonomous mobility sector and strengthening its role as an innovator in the future mobility landscape.
